Jessica Fostekew: The Silence of the Nans

Some DarkChatters are already fans of Jessica Fostekew, having seen her before at the Fringe.  This was my first time and hopefully won't be the last.

We had some inside information on the subject of her show (one member of DarkChat knows her mother) and knew that it

would strike a chord with us but even without this shared experience, it would have been a delight.

The show is a masterclass in comedic storytelling and didn't flag for a moment.  It was like spending an hour in the company

of your funniest friend who has a story she can't wait to tell you.  Jessica Fostekew is totally in command of her material and

has a confident stage presence which means the audience can just relax and enjoy themselves.

A talented and endearing comedian who, on the way out, gave DarkChat Kate a hug.

Highly recommended although (we assume) hugs not guaranteed.
